Knowing your IP address can help you troubleshoot problems with your
internet connection. You may be surprised to learn that you have two
IP addresses: an IP address for your computer on the internal network and an
IP address for your computer on the internet.
Find your wired connection’s internal (network) IP address
Open the Activities overview and
start typing Settings.
Click on Settings.
Click on Network in the sidebar to open the panel.
If more than one type of wired connected is available, you might see
names like PCI Ethernet or USB Ethernet instead
of Wired.
Click the
settings
button next to the active connection for the IP address and other details.
Find your wireless connection’s internal (network) IP address
