GNOME Classic is a feature for users who prefer a more traditional desktop experience. While GNOME Classic is based on modern GNOME technologies, it provides a number of changes to the user interface, such as the Applications and Places menus on the top bar, and a window list at the bottom of the screen.

You can use the Applications menu on the top bar to launch applications.

Spisak prozora

Spisak prozora na dnu ekrana obezbeđuje pristup svim vašim otvorenim prozorima i programima i dopušta vam da ih brzo umanjite i povratite.

The Activities overview is available by clicking the button at the left-hand side of the window list at the bottom.

Da pristupite pregledu Aktivnosti, možete takođe da pritisnete taster Super.

Na desnoj strani spiska prozora, Gnom prikazuje kratak odrednik za trenutni radni prostor, kao što je 1 za prvi (gornji) radni prostor. You need to have the gnome-shell-extensions package installed to make GNOME Classic available.

Install gnome-shell-extensions

Save any open work, and then log out. Click the system menu on the right side of the top bar and then choose the right option.

Pojaviće se poruka potvrđivanja. Izaberite Odjavi da potvrdite.

Na ekranu za prijavljivanje, izaberite vaše ime sa spiska.

Click the settings button in the bottom right corner.

Select GNOME Classic from the list.

Unesite vašu lozinku u polje za unos lozinke.

Press Enter.

 Da se prebacite iz <em>Klasičnog Gnoma</em> u <em>Gnom</em>:

Sačuvajte sve orvorene radove, i odjavite se. Kliknite na sistemski izbornik na desnoj strani gornje trake, kliknite na vaše ime i izaberite odgovarajuću mogućnost.

Pojaviće se poruka potvrđivanja. Izaberite Odjavi da potvrdite.

Na ekranu za prijavljivanje, izaberite vaše ime sa spiska.

Click the options icon in the bottom right corner.

Select GNOME from the list.
