Damilola Oladele damilolamohammed2@hotmail.com 2025 Choose between dynamic workspaces that automatically adjust based on usage or a fixed number of workspaces. Also, configure how workspaces appear across multiple monitors. Customize workspace behavior

You can control how workspaces behave on your system. Two options are available:

Dynamic Workspaces: This is the default setting. It automatically removes any empty workspaces.

Fixed Number of Workspaces: This option lets you define a specific number of workspaces.

To select a workspace behavior, follow these steps:

Open the Activities overview and type Multitasking.

Select SettingsMultitasking from the results.

Under Workspaces, choose either Dynamic Workspaces or Fixed Number of Workspaces from the results.

The + and - controls become active once you select Fixed Number of Workspaces, allowing you to specify the number of workspaces.

You can also control how workspaces appear on systems with multiple monitors. Go to SettingsMultitaskingMulti-Monitor, then choose one of the following options:

Workspaces on primary display only: Displays workspaces only on your primary monitor.

Workspaces on all displays: Displays workspaces on all monitors connected to your system.
