Kända och möjliga maskinvaruproblem =================================== Skärmproblem: * När du ändrar upplösning kan skärmen ibland inte reagera på en upplösning som den säger sig stödja, utan visar en svart eller förvriden bild. Om detta händer växlar du till fönsterläge, ändrar upplösningen och uppdaterar upplösningen till en lägre nivå. * Om du kör spelet under Windows XP med ett NVIDIA-grafikkort kommer spelet att bli väldigt instabilt om du använder grafikdrivrutin version 6.14.0011.9107. NVIDIA har släppt uppdaterade grafikdrivrutiner som löser detta problem. Om du använder den här versionen bör du uppdatera till de senaste drivrutinerna från NVIDIA. Ljudproblem: * Ljud-maskinvaruacceleration stöds inte. * Turtle Beach Montego DDL - Surround 5.1 stöds inte. Det här läget är tillgängligt bland alternativen men ljudet kommer att vara i Stereo (2 kanaler) på alla högtalare. Mac OS X-problem: *På Mac OS X-system som har NVIDIA-kort med mindre än 256 MB VRAM kan du behöva minska grafikkvaliteten via alternativmenyn i spelet för bättre prestanda. *Om du spelar på en MacBook Pro med skärmspegling påslagen ska du välja en upplösning som stöds av både den externa och interna skärmen. En lösning på problemet är att se till att den interna LCD-skärmen är systmets huvudskärm innan du aktiverar skärmspegling, så visas rätt upplösning. *Ibland slutar ljudet att spelas upp när du kopplar in hörlurar efter att spelet startat. För att förhindra detta ska du se till att hörlurarna är anslutna till din Mac innan du börjar spela. *Om du har problem med bildfrekvensen på ett ATI X1600- eller X1900-kort, kan du dra ner inställningen för Lighting Quality till låg. * När du kör spelet under Snow Leopard med grafikkorten ATI Radeon X1600 eller X1900 bör du ställa in skjutreglaget för ljus/skuggor på låg nivå för att undvika grafikfel. *Om du använder två NVIDIA GeForce-grafikkort med ett SLI-aktiverat moderkort och spelet låser sig, kan du testa med att uppdatera dina drivrutiner. Om du fortfarande har problem kan du stänga av SLI. * Om träd verkar onormalt kantiga eller missfärgade och din dator använder ett ATI-grafikkort med Catalyst-programvara kan du lösa problemet genom att stänga av anpassad anti-alias via Catalyst. * Externa ljudenheter kan orsaka kompatibilitetsproblem och leda till ljudstörningar. Med hjälp av datorns interna ljudinställningar kan detta problem lösas genom att koppla uttaget för Line/Högtalare till ljudsystemets ingång för Aux (eller Line). Prestandatips ============= När du kör The Sims 3 första gången kommer spelet automatiskt att välja passande inställningar för ditt grafikkort, CPU och ljudkort. Om du vill förbättra prestandan kan du använda alternativkontrollpanelen och sänka inställningarna för grafik och ljud till "medel" eller "låg". Du kan även förbättra prestandan i spelet genom att sänka upplösningen som spelet renderas i. Alternativen 800 x 600 och 640 x 480 renderar bilden i den upplösningen, men visas i 1024 x 768, så storleken på spelfönstret är 1024 x 768. The Sims 3 är ett 3D-spel i realtid som kräver större delen av processorkraften i din dator. Andra program som körs i bakgrunden kan få spelet att gå långsammare eller orsaka problem med bildfrekvensen. För bästa resultat bör du stänga alla program i bakgrunden när du spelar The Sims 3. Fullskärmsläget ger oftast bättre prestanda än fönsterläget. Om du spelar första gången i en nedladdad stad kan det ta en stund innan simmarna och texturerna dyker upp. Det är helt normalt att se vita föremål tills deras texturer har återskapats. Installera spelet ----------------- Windows (skivanvändare): * Stoppa i skivan i din skivläsare och följ instruktionerna på skärmen. * När spelet är installerat kan du starta det genom att leta reda på spelet i Startmenyn. * Spel i Windows Vista™ ligger under menyn Start > Spel och på tidigare versioner av Windows™ under menyn Start > Program (eller alla Program). Windows (EA Store/Origin-användare): * När spelet har laddats ner med EA Download Manager/Origin klickar du på installationsikonen som visas och följer instruktionerna på skärmen. * Starta spelet (när det är installerat) direkt från EA Download Manager/Origin. I den klassiska startmenyn i Windows Vista ligger spelen under menyn Start > Program > Spel > Spelutforskaren. Mac OS X: * Sätt in skivan med spelet i CD/DVD-ROM-enheten. En CD-ikon för spelet visas på skrivbordet. Håll ner mushjulet och flytta musen för att ändra vinkel och vrida kameran. Huskontroller ------------- MacBook: Fn + pil uppåt/pil nedåt Nästa / föregående våning Fn + pil vänster/pil höger Nästa / föregående väggläge - Funktioner för höger musknapp och mittenknappen i Mac OS X - Spelet innehåller funktioner som kräver en högerknapp och en mittenknapp på musen. Om du har en Apple Mighty Mouse kan du aktivera höger musknapp under Systeminställningar->Tangentbord och mus. Ändra listrutan "Högerklick" till Sekundär knapp. Macintosh har stöd för de flesta PC USB-möss.  Vänsterknappen, högerknappen och den mittersta musknappen känns av korrekt på dessa när de ansluts. Om du har en äldre mus från Apple med bara en musknapp, eller en MacBook Pro med Track Pad, kan du emulera att klicka med höger musknapp genom att hålla ned Command medan du klickar med musknappen. Du kan emulera mittenknappen på en mus med en knapp genom att hålla ned tangenterna Control och Command när du klickar med musknappen. Fusk ---- För att skriva in fusk i spelet måste du först öppna kommandorutan genom att trycka på Ctrl-Shift-C samtidigt. Tryck på Enter eller Esc för att stänga kommandorutan. Här är några av de fusk som du kan använda här: help: Visar alla fusk som finns tillgängliga i spelet. help : Visar information om fusket. quit: Avslutar spelet. [uppåtpilen]: Återkallar det senaste fusk som skrevs in i detta fönster under den här spelomgången. resetSim : I de sällsynta fall då en sim "fastnar" under en handling eller på staden, eller om något fastnar vid den, kan du använda det här fusket. Det kan ta ett tag innan din sim dyker upp eftersom den byggs upp helt igen. Exempel: resetSim Mortimer Goth fps [on|off]: Växlar visningen av bildrutefrekvensen i det övre högra hörnet av och på. moveObjects [on|off]: Tar bort avtrycksbegränsningen för all föremålsplacering i köpläget och byggläget. Tar bort begränsningen i handverktyget för föremål som används eller som normalt inte går att flytta. Kan orsaka problem med spelelement, vägfinnande, skapande och manipulering av dolda föremål, etc. Observera att detta fusk ger dig möjlighet att flytta och radera föremål som normalt inte kan ändras, till exempel simmar. Om du raderar dessa föremål går det inte att få tillbaka dem, så var försiktig! constrainFloorElevation [true|false]: Möjliggör alla ändringar av terräng, oavsett vilka föremål, simmar och andra byggnader som finns på den. Väggar, golv och föremål flyttas med terrängen, så att du kan skapa lutande väggar och golvlagda kullar. Nya väggar/golv plattar dock fortfarande till terrängen, och utplacering av föremål kräver fortfarande att terrängen är platt om föremålen normalt sett kräver det. disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on|off]: När fusket är på fästs föremål inte vid platser när du håller ned ALT. Kan vara bra om du vill placera stolar nära bord utan att fästa dem eller placera köksbänkar nära andra bänkar. hideHeadlineEffects [on|off]: Döljer alla effekter över simmarnas huvuden, som tankeballonger och talballonger. fadeObjects [on|off]: Växlar om föremål ska blekna när kameran kommer nära. Gäller inte simmar. slowMotionViz : Sätter grafiken i spelet i slow motion. Du kan ange ett "nivå"-värde. Nivåvärdet går från 0 = normal fart till 8 = långsammast. unlockOutfits [on|off]: Tar med karriärkläder och simm-servicekläder som alternativ när du skapar din simm. Fusket måste skrivas in innan du öppnar läget för att skapa simmar. rbbb [on|off] eller RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings [true|false]: Tillåter redigering av alla tomter med en allmän rumsmarkör. Allmän rumsmarkör: För bostadsytomter med byggbara skal. Finns bara i BuyDebug-katalogen och är bara synlig i bygg/köp-läget eller om fusket RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings eller BuyDebug är på. En allmän rumsmarkör måste placeras i alla rum som ska vara allmänna, förutom "utomhusrummet". Dold rumsmarkör: Bara tillgänglig i BuyDebug-katalogen och syns bara i bygg/köp-läget. Alla rum där dessa markörer placeras kommer att vara dolda om inte fusket RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings eller BuyDebug är på. Nivåskippningsmarkör: Bara tillgänglig i BuyDebug-katalogen och syns bara i bygg/köp-läget. Om du vill ta bort den aktuella framsidan på tomten och välja en annan sida som framsida CTRL+SKIFT+KLICKAR du på marken och väljer "Ställ in som tomtens framsida". moviemakerCheats enabled [true|false]: Aktiverar filmskaparläget, som innehåller nya fusk för spelare som vill spela in filmer. För att kunna öppna filmskaparläget måste [testingcheatsenabled true] vara inställt. Det gör att du kan markera datorstyrda karaktärer genom att SKIFT+HÖGERKLICKA på simmen. Dessutom finns följande fuskinteraktioner när du SKIFT+VÄNSTERKLICKAR på en sim: • Animering: Spelar upp en angiven animering med simmen. • Stäng av alla tittare: Stänger av "Titta på" för alla simmar. • Redigera i SES: Tar med den sim du klickar på till Skapa en sim, där du kan ändra den helt. • Stäng av sim: Hindrar alla simmar från att göra något annat än spelaraktiverade interaktioner. • Ställ in slinga/en-av: Ställer in animationer på att gå i en slinga eller en gång-av. Kompatibilitetsanmärkningar =========================== The Sims 3 är avsett att köras med grafikkort och ljudkort som är kompatibla med Windows XP. Drivrutiner till denna maskinvara går att få från respektive korttillverkare och dessa kan leda till kompatibilitetsproblem utanför vår kontroll. Om du har problem rekommenderar vi alltid att du skaffar och installerar de senaste drivrutinerna till din maskinvara. Majoriteten av maskinvarutillverkarna har de senaste drivrutinerna tillgängliga för nedladdning på sina webbsajter. Mer information om kända tekniska problem finns på http://www.thesims3.com. Dela ut filmer online --------------------- The Sims 3 Exchange stödjer en maximal filstorlek på 1 GB per filmklipp. Om du spelar in med "Medel"-storlek (640 x 480) och "Hög" kvalitet, bör du kunna spela in ungefär 20 minuter film utan att överskrida gränsen på 1 GB. Observera att om du har ändrat inställningarna i spelet för att spela in okomprimerad film, så kan de resulterande filerna överskrida gränsen på 1 GB ganska snabbt. Filmer som redigeras med filmredigeringsverktyg från tredje part kan resultera i ett format som inte kan konverteras så att det kan användas med online-redigeringsverktyget.
